Introducing the new signature treatment made specifically for Perth skin

Although we may appreciate Perth’s climate during beach season, our hot, dry summers and cool wet winters significantly influence the health and appearance of our skin.

It is said that Perth has 6 seasons, which has inspired Skindepth Perth to develop a 6-step Signature treatment to help strengthen and prepare your skin.

This signature facial uses clinic-strength active ingredients and is specifically formulated to help Perth client’s maintain healthy, glowing skin year-round.

What does the Skindepth Signature Treatment involve?

Step 1 - Cleanse and skin assessment

A good cleanse removes any external debris on the surface of your skin such as makeup, moisturiser, or sunscreen. This ensures active ingredients can effectively penetrate the deeper dermal layers of your skin, for optimal results. It also allows the Skindepth team to better assess your skin and its needs for that day

Step 2 - Venus Concept Diamond polar skin tightening

The Venus Concept Diamond Polar is a non-invasive and safe procedure that improves skin texture and appearance for a fresher, more youthful glow. While Perth’s wealth of sun is appreciated by beach-goers, it also means you experience higher UV damage and your collagen – the building blocks of your skin – degenerates more quickly than in other states. The Venus Concept Diamond Polar delivers radio-frequency, which is designed to stimulate collagen production and fibroblasts, resulting in a smoother appearance to the skin, plumping fine lines and wrinkles and treating acne. It also delivers pulsed electromagnetic energy which enhances the vascularity of your skin and creates new pathways for blood flow, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to reach the skin’s surface. All in all, by the end of this step, your skin looks healthier, tighter, and smoother.

Step 3 - Clinical Peel

The type of clinical peel you receive as part of the treatment is selected based on your individual skin concerns. The Skindepth Perth team works with a variety of Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) and Beta hydroxy acids (BHA).

·       AHA’s - assists your skin in achieving its optimal pH level which helps to smooth fine lines and brighten pigmentation. Along with skin resurfacing, this peel amplifies skin hydration and refines the appearance of pores and skin texture.

·       BHA’s - purifies and polishes your skin by regulating cellular turnover and sebum production, as well as removing unwanted cellular debris that helps to unclog pores, reduce blackheads, and prevent breakouts. Anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties in this peel enhances hydration, calms inflammation, and fortifies your skin barrier.

Step 4 - Healite LED

The Healite is a pain-free and non-invasive treatment for all skin types which delivers a light emitting diode (LED) energy to the deeper layers of the skin. The LED has a therapeutic effect as it re-energises the skin cells and leads to optimal skin cell functioning, enhances the body’s natural cellular recovery, improves healing time, controls active acne, and promotes skin rejuvenation.

Step 5 - Infusion

A topical vitamin infusion is selected by the medical team to target your individual skin concerns. Infusions are effective in strengthening skin integrity, replenishing moisture, and reducing redness and sensitivity. This step also involves a deeply nourishing face massage to assist with lymphatic drainage, soothe the skin, and assess its response to the treatment.

Step 6 - Application of sun protection

The last (and most important) step of the Skindepth Signature Treatment is the application of K Ceutic. K Ceutic is our secret to glowy skin! This SPF50 cream (available in clinic) has been specifically selected by dermatologist, Dr Alice Rudd, to protect against Perth’s harsh UV light. It also provides essential nutrients such as K complex, vitamin C, and vitamin E to repair, nourish, and soothe the skin post.
